Outreach

The Beta Phi Chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma is active in various charitable activities throughout the campus and the community. Some of these activities include:

Boy Scouts Chemistry Merit Badge Program - Each spring we assist area Boy Scouts in the attainment of their Chemistry Merit Badges. Activities include chemical demonstrations, as well as hands-on experiments in polymer chemistry, physical properties, and analytical chemistry. Storybook Island Christmas Lighting - We've helped decorate Storybook Island for Christmas! Contact the activity committee chair for more information!
Middle School Outreach - We do demonstrations for middle school students during National Chemistry Week to get them interested in chemistry. Contact the professional activity committee chair for more information!
Citywide Safe Halloween - We volunteer at the citywide safe Halloween and do spooky demonstrations for the kids! Contact the professional activity committee chair for more information!
